Common sense is the guiding principle behind BayernZone, if you think something you are typing is going to be rude, upsetting, racist, imflammatory, destructive, offensive, etc., then DO NOT post it.

We, the Staff of BayernZone, have assimilated a set of rules that we want you all to make sure you follow and understand before you start posting.

These rules apply to all registered members in BayernZone, in order to keep the forums running well and to prevent problems, we have these here to keep order and so we can all have fun and get along. We would like all users to read and follow our simple rules below.

Please take note that ignorance of these rules will NOT be tolerated.

If you want to discuss about the rules or make suggestions to it, then please create a new thread in the "Support & Feedback" forum.


General Rules

1- BayernZone only allows posts which are in the English language. However, it is permissible to elaborate part of a post in another language provided that an English translation accompanies it. Failure to provide a translation in English will result in the non-English text being removed.

2- No violent, political, religious, racist, abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or vile posts will be tolerated; neither will personal attacks of any nature.

3- If you want to be respected, you need to show respect for others. No personal attacks or harassment of a cultural, ethnic or political nature.

4- No one's opinion is more correct than anyone else’s. These forums were created as a place to discuss and debate. All members have a right to voice their opinions. It is possible to disagree without being disagreeable.

5- Avatars are allowed as a way to personalize your presence on the forum. All rules apply to this area just as they do to your messages.

6- Posting or transmitting third-party copyrighted information or in any way infringing on the intellectual property rights, contractual or fiduciary rights of others is not allowed.

7- Posting or transmitting any advertising, promotional materials, spam or any other forms of solicitation is not allowed, so do not plug your own website here, do it the hard way like the rest of us.

8- It is not allowed to expose, directly or indirectly, any personal or confidential details of any member or outsider without their authorization. Exposing publicly in a thread or in a private message is not allowed without the sender's consent.

9- Members who insist on continually and repeatedly being rude and disrespectful should expect consequences.

10- It is strictly forbidden to insult/swear at any administrator or member. We do not want to see any form of profanity here at all. Users who constantly swear will be banned. This includes putting the first letter of the word and * after it. There is absolutely NO reason at all why you should be allowed to swear, please keep it off of BayernZone.

11- Don't talk here with that typical teenie message talk. You know, like: “omfg lolz. Ribéry iz lyke da most amazing playa eva. HE’s gr8.” That kind of typing really annoys people and it makes it very hard to read and understand.

12- Before making a thread/post, always search for it. If you're new, chances are we've had a topic/post about what you’re thinking before. It'll only annoy people when you make a new thread/post that we've already discussed many times before.

13- Do not write in CAPITAL LETTERS, in Bold or in large font sizes, you can use it for one or two words to point out something but don't do that in a whole sentence or your whole post, it's looks bad and annoying too.

14- It is forbidden to post Google-translated articles.

15- Do not pretend to be an Administrator, or act as one if you aren't a Administrator. The Administrators are the ones who make things better for you in BayernZone, so don't act as one if you aren't.

16- Do not derail threads where there is serious discussion going on, be on topic and if you want to discuss about another topic, then do it in another thread.

17- When submitting a new thread or post, make sure you are posting it in the appropriate section or thread. Also, please use descriptive thread titles when creating new threads, do not use titles like "Please Read" or "Help Me".

18- Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed.

19- Personalized threads that have to do with two members aren't allowed, use the PM function if you need to talk to any single person. Personal threads will most likely get closed.

20- Use the Report system instead of posting or PMing saying another user is breaking the rules, it's much easier this way because this way will let the administration team to view it.

21- Please do not repeatedly bump your threads to try and get attention. Most members of the site are not online 24 hours a day and so will not see your post the instant it is made. Do not bump a thread within 24 hours, and not more than once a week if you have to.

22- Using more than one account is not allowed. If a member is caught having more than one account without the Administration's consent, he or she will be asked to drop one account, which will be banned, and post with the other. If repeated again a member will get a ban.

23- You agree that the administrators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit.

24- If you as a member of this forum notice a post that is in poor taste, or a member who is willfully bending or breaking our simple rules, you can and should report it. Do that by clicking on the report button next to the post where you saw the problem.

25- Make yourself feel at home, do whatever you want in here but without breaking the rules above. Rules are the fundamentals on which everything you do is based. Most will not even get close to them just as you are rarely brushing against the law in real life, but without them there would be anarchy and our community would not be able to thrive or even survive.


In closing...

While these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. So the Rules are subjected to minor changes and additions according to the circumstances to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way, so I would just like all members to be careful and mature. Remember that administrators are doing their best for you and the place. So we should all help each other.

Anyone found abusing these guidelines (or common sense & good manners) will find their posts or threads containing them deleted and will be banned.

If everyone is polite and courteous we can all enjoy this forum. We don't want to have to put up rules, as we are all old enough to get along nicely.

Keep your posts no higher than what you'd see on primetime television. If you are unsure if what you are about to post is acceptable, then don't post it. If you post something that YOU think is apropriate but we find it wrong, then we will remove it.

All in all this forum is somewhere for people to meet and get to know other users whilst discussing with other members and enjoying themselves.

For all situations not explicitly described in the rules, the Administrators have discretionary authority to resolve the situation within the spirit of the rules.

Simple, isn't it? You're a member of BayernZone to have some fun. So are the other members. Let us all be able to do so, now and in the future, so keep the forum fun, and don't abuse the personal touches that have been built in for you!

The most important thing is that you enjoy yourself at BayernZone!
