Eto'o is a douchebag too, but Pep should have never sold him.

Eto'o disliked Pep since he was on the list of players he wanted out before he took over. Love Eto'o, but he can be pretty bad at times. He even made a 19 year old kid retire from Cameroon NT or not accept getting called up as the guy threatened him and he was scared.

They all 3 got egos, Eto and Zlatan more than Mandzukic, but I still think its fair to say Pep aint always good at dealing with players, staff too for that matter

He can be a worm at times

Mandzukic made a guy like Simeone sell him... I think it's clear that the problem was him, not Pep.

It's clear that Pep doesn't like players that can be vocal on locker-room and be a cancer.
Even a guy like Ribery loved Pep(even though he loves Carlo more because he's a sure starter with him).

Ribery praised Pep as the best coach he ever played for in 2015 and said that he had a great relationship with him ... Ribery is like a child, love and hate exists in the same state.

Well, most coaches have certain players who dislike them for different reasons.

Pep being Pep will always have more admirers than players who hate him. Will always have players who will love to play under him, with Gabriel Jesus and Bernardo Silva being recent examples.

Managers like Pep, Mourinho, Ancelotti, Klopp and Zidane have that clout.

Mandžo can be a cunt, yes, but he is very grateful and dedicated to the cause, if you know how to get him there and keep him there and use him efficiently. Jupp knew the secret, Guardiola is too stubborn for that and isn't patient enough to do it nor adaptable enough to want to do it.

The story with Zlatan or Eto'o was probably simmilar or the same, more or less.

It's really interesting how people keep finding excuses. Star players will have a tendency to be cunts, the solution is not to make them angrier or get rid of them, the solution is to manage them. This is where a good manager comes in. You're not supposed to only make up tactics and formations, you should actually manage the team.

most of world class footballers are douchebags , so what's the point? They should be free agents ?

The coach is the one responsible for these details , and this is not an excuse

And that is Ancelottis biggest strength probably. People can say what they want about him, but he is maybe the best top manager to handle big players/egos.

You never hear a player speak bad about him .. I guess that speak volume

Not saying this as he is the best coach out there, but he is the best in handling the players I think thats quite true

It all depends.

If you want to build a team, coach like Pep or van Gaal will do better. They are brave enough to kick douchebag or obsolete players out of the team & giving youngster/new players more playing chances.

Otherwise, yeah we got a stable team with no Robbery replacement & watched Xabi played every matches. XD
