Eintracht Frankfurt v FC Schalke 04
FC Nürnberg v Bayer 04 Leverkusen
FC Köln v FC Bayern München

Difficult and tricky away matches for all top-three BL teams. Köln, Nürnberg, Frankfurt are teams that break down when you score the 1st goal, however, the problem is that to score that 1st goal we will have to go to the limit.

They might be Bayern's rivals, but go Nürnberg!=D 2-0 up, some odd 40 minutes to go.

3-0, haha!

Ended 3-2, awesome! Leverkusen broke under pressure IMO which was bound to happen.

Im thinking that maybe Leverkusen won't be our rival after all... it will be Magath!

Cause honestly, if Schalke had any other coach, they will probably be third or fourth just fighting for the Europa League position.

Well Neuer and the boys were very dangerous at times but I would also include the refs helping them. Everyone thought that Klose's goal was way offsides?? 2 Schalke boys were at LEAST 4 yards ahead when the ball was kicked and they put it in... Lehmann was waiting for the offside flag to go up while he was scattering back and forth and by the time he figured out they werent going to blow the whistle, the ball was in goal. I wonder if anyone told Stuttgart's defenders that they can play inside the 18 yd box. Their defending, including Lehmann, was pathetic. I was hoping that they would help us stay up.

Kuranyi's goal was not offside, mate.Although 3 Schalke players were in offside position, Westermann who received the ball from freekick stood in front Stuttgart''s defenders and was not offside. I watched the Sky Sport highlight and it showed clearly that goal was not offside.

Anyways, Schalke is now our rival. They're very dangerous.

Hertha Berlin hooligans went on a violent rampage after their side remained rooted to the bottom of the Bundesliga table after losing 2-1 at home to Nuernberg on Saturday.

Around 100 fans stormed the pitch, some of them armed, as they attempted to attack players, and coach Friedhelm Funkel.

Players in fear for their lives fled the scene as the thugs trashed the dugouts before police intervened to restore some order.
Talk about losing it

Yep, it's a shame that the Berlin fans reacted that way. Frustration must be high on them considering that last year they were even contenders to the title and now they will most likely go to the 2.Bundesliga.

On another topic, this is how the Bundesliga table looks like on the 26th Matchday so far:

Bundesliga - Tabelle

Quote:
  1. Bayern München - 56 pts | +31 goals
  2. FC Schalke 04 - 54 pts | +22 goals
  3. Bayer Leverkusen - 50 pts | +29 goals
  4. Borussia Dortmund - 45 pts | +10 goals
  5. Hamburger SV - 43 pts | +18 goals
  6. Werder Bremen - 39 pts | +19 goals
  7. FSV Mainz - 38 pts | -3 goals
  8. VfL Wolfsburg - 37 pts | +3 goals
  9. VfB Stuttgart - 35 pts | +2 goals
  10. Eintracht Frankfurt - 35 pts | -5 goals
  11. TSG Hoffenheim - 32 pts | +4 goals
  12. Borussia Mönchengladbach - 30 pts | -12 goals
  13. FC Köln - 27 pts | -11 goals
  14. Bochum - 27 pts | -19 goals
  15. FC Nürnberg - 24 pts | -19 goals
  16. Hannover 96 - 23 pts | -19 goals
  17. SC Freiburg - 20 pts | -25 goals
  18. Hetha BSC Berlin - 15 pts | -25 goals

Red = Champions League*
Blue = Champions League Qualification
Green = Europa League
Brown = Play-off
Gray = Relegation

*The number of teams that Germany has in the CL 2010/2011 might change at the end of this season, depending on the coefficient. Most likely, Germany will have 4 representatives in the CL (3 direct, 1 play-off) and 2 direct spots in the Europa League.

Who can blame them, I mean they are the only descent team from the CAPITAL of Germany, and they will most likely be relegated. Usually the capital teams from other nations are one of the best in their nation if not the best, its a shame really.

And Filo are you sure that if Germany has more points than Italy this year they will have 4 teams next year? Because from what I know when a country reaches top 3 in Europe with points they won't have 4 teams that season but the next, in this case season 2011/2012.
