Why go for Hamsik, if Kroos will be comin back next season? Also if Bayern gets Hamsik...Who should he replace? I mean atm the only 2 man midfield is Schweinsteiger and Van Bommel...Since Van Bommel is a certain starter(unfortunate), I doubt Schweini will be content with a sub role and what of Kroos, Baumjohann and Tymoshchuk? Signing new players wont bring peace within the club especially in a tight department like midfield. unless drastic changes are planned.

..........XXXX......XXXX Robben.......Kroos.......Ribery ................Gomez For one of the spots, you can easily slot in Hamsik who would be perfect for the #8 role. Then we just need a proper tackler. Perhaps Tymos could be good again if he is given nothing but defensive responsibilities. His passing is lacking which is why he sucks in the position Van Gaal played him, but he is the best tackler in our squad (from the midfielders), so he'd be good there. As for Bastian not accepting a sub role. Well, he isn't good enough to start, as simple as that. Hamsik is twice the player. ..........Tymos....Hamsik Robben.......Kroos.......Ribery ................Gomez Starter --- Reserve Tymos ---- Ottl Hamsik --- Bastian Baum ---- Kroos Robben --- Müller Ribery ---- Olic Gomez --- Klose Very strong starting line-up, very deep squad with a lot of options on the bench. |
