Ryan Babel

According to an “exclusive” report in the "News of the World", the disgruntled Liverpool winger/striker Ryan Babel will be moving to FC Bayern München in January. The British tabloid reports that Babel's representatives are working overtime to push through a loan switch to the Allianz Arena, with Die Roten to be given a £9 million option to make the move permanent in the summer.

Not a fan tbh, but if it's a loan deal I wouldn't mind.

A loan sounds good to me as well. I don't give a shit if he's Dutch or from Mars, he does have some skill and creativity at least.

come on!i dont mind if its loan but he is not enough for bayern,he found playtime when half of liverpool squad were injured!they dont accept him as liver's caliber,i think its not a wise move!it would better if we have bad season but in the end board understands that our team needs transfers, maybe we can go for gourcuff or...

Maybe this means that Toni's transfer is already done. If that is correct, then welcome Ryan!

Well, to be honest, Van Gaal has a serious problem with Toni and they just can't seem to work it out. Hoeness has expressed his desire for both parties to patch up but if both of them refuse to sort things out, there's not much to do.

No one prefers Babel over Toni, but it is clear that Toni will leave Bayern Munich for problems with the coach. Just like ZeRo with Magath.

Besides, it is clear that the system that Van Gaal prefers is the 4-3-3. Getting a winger would be an obvious pick.

Why Babel? If Bayern wants a winger for this God forsaken dutch 4-3-3 shit, why dont Bayern try for someone like Arsahvin? or better yet, why they dont keep playing Pranjic as LW, since hes doin better there than LB. For me this is a waste of time, theres Olic, Klose, Muller, Gomez for striker options. Theres, Baumjohann, Pranjic and so on. Why did Bayern send Sosa back if they needed a winger? Imo this is all just another dutch reunion...

Whats next? Selling Klose and signing Van Nistelrooy?

You're right.

There's no real need for Babel.

Nerlinger: Bayern are not interested in Babel

Quote:
"I can assure you that we're not interested in bringing Babel to Munich. I know nothing about such a transfer and that means that nothing is going on," said Nerlinger to Liga Total.

"This has nothing to do with Babel's qualities, but we have plenty of options in his position. Both Ivica Olic and Mario Gomez are in superb form and we don't need another attacker."
