Pienaar is a hugely talented player and from someone who has watched him now for 3 years I can tell you that you are being very narrow minded if you dont think he could do the business for you.
He has 18 months left on his contract and is yet to resign. Lets hope he signs a new deal soon and you wont have to worry about him playing for you

Pienaar in dark over Bayern link

Quote:
Everton star Steven Pienaar insists he does not know anything about reported interest from Bayern Munich.

The German giants are reported to be considering a move for the South African schemer as they look at possible replacements for Franck Ribery.

Pienaar, 27, has just 18-months left on his current deal at Goodison Park and has, thus far, shunned advances of a new deal.

The player himself insists he has only heard rumours about Bayern and that nothing concrete has materialised.

"I only heard about this at training when Louis Saha came to me during our warm up and said 'I heard some rumours of Bayern Munich being interested in you'. I really don't know anything about this myself." Pienaar told KickOff.

i even think we should move ribery and get some money sooner rather than later cuz we're loaded in midfield. i think next season the attacking midfield would be perfect with robben right, kroos on the left and mueller on the center. so why the hell do wee need pienar, + we have some "garbage" player that can fill those positions in case of emergency like pranjic or braafheid or whatever

Let him stay there, we don't need Pienaar. What we need is for Franck Ribery to extend his stay.
