During the next week and weekend we will have the first match of the two-leg qualifiers for the WC in Europe, Central/South America and Oceania/Asia:

Quote:
Play-off matches:

CONCACAF/CONMEBOL

13/11/09 - Costa Rica v Uruguay

UEFA

14/11/09 - Republic of Ireland v France
14/11/09 - Greece v Ukraine
14/11/09 - Portugal v Bosnia-Herzegovina
14/11/09 - Russia v Slovenia

CAF/OFC

13/11/09 - Bahrain v New Zealand
Out of all the games, I think I'll see the one of Chile v Germany (Friendly) and also the Portugal v Bosnia-Herzegovina, which will be a craking match for Misimovic and Dzeko. I also want to see Spain play v Argentina!

World Cup 2010

- South Africa*
- Ghana
- Côte d'Ivoire
- Nigeria
- Cameroun
- Algeria

AFC - Asia

- Australia
- Japan
- Korea Republic
- Korea DPR
- New Zealand

UEFA - Europe

- Netherlands
- England
- Spain
- Germany
- Denmark
- Serbia
- Italy
- Switzerland
- Slovakia
- Slovenia
- Greece
- Portugal

CONMEBOL - South America

- Brazil

- Chile
- Argentina
- Uruguay

CONCACAF - North, Central America and Caribbean

- United States
- México
- Honduras

*As a host of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, South Africa automatically qualify for the tournament.
All 32 teams are now qualified and now we will see what the groups are like. It is true that Germany, Argentina, Spain and Brazil will not play against them in the group phase.

I just have to say that Russia, Ukraine and Bosnia played better football and lost their chance. Portugal, Slovenia and Greece took their very limited chances and passed on. Also, France qualifing is both SHAMEFULL and PATHETIC. The way that they got through makes me sick (clearer hand-ball is impossible) and the worst part is that Ireland was superior not only in Paris but in Ireland too.

That handball was ridiculous, Henry kept the ball in with his hand for like 3 seconds and the referee still did not see it. I feel sorry for Ireland.

Also too bad we will not see them hot Swedish blonds down there in Africa :P

OK, the way i see it, the following teams are the ones that we should be thankfull if we can avoid. Of course, in this stage, all rivals are complicated but there are some that are very difficult.

According for what I saw in the Qualification matches,

Pot 2: Holland, Portugal, Denmark e Slovenia.
Pot 3: Ivory Coast, Chile.
Pot 4: South Korea, Australia.

PD: Migue you put Egypt on Pot 3, is not Egypt is Algeria!

Both Portugal and France qualified undeservingly, both got assisted by ridiculous refs(namely Rossetti). Russia deserved to get knocked out. I cant say anythin about Greece and Ukraine. But I would have liked if Ukraine went to S.Africa.

As everyone knows shit happens in football. The ref should have caught that because it was pretty obvious. The thing that pisses me off more is how arrogant Henri is about it... or what a dumbfucker this guy is. He goes to the press and admits it, then says how unapologetic he is about it because France had a tough couple of years. Fuck him, fuck FIFA, fuck the refs. I dont know who I feel worse for, Ireland or France's supporters having to support a fucking arrogant cheat like that.

You guys dislike France from what I can see... fair enough. But, I guess you're completely forgetting that if they wouldn't qualify, our best player, Franck Ribéry, wouldn't have played at the World Cup next year. You all know how important the WC or Euro is for players of his calibre.

^ Sorry Trim but Im calling bullshit on your last post. I dont hate France. I like France and I like Ireland. But COME ON!!!! You cant honestly say that we hate France because of our posts. Thats ridiculous!

France got out played by Ireland in both matches. Fair enough, thats football. France got through on a handball. Again, that sucks but thats football. Im calling out Henri as a complete cunt for saying what he said afterward. Handballs happen every now and then and thats that. But to handle it twice, then celebrate as if you didnt, THEN to come out in the press as an unapologetic cunt and whine about how France had a tough couple of years... like I said, I like France but wont be giving them any sort of support this coming WC REGARDLESS of Franck. The only time I support Franck is when Franck is playing for FCB.

You're overreacting, Tomas! And, there is a difference between 'dislike' and 'hate', mate.

How were Portugal assisted and how did we not deserve to qualify?? Did you even watch the matches?

Yes I did, I watched the french game live and I saw the repeat of portugese game. Bosnia had the far better possesion of the game and everytime a red player goes down Rossetti instantly whistles, Salihovic's sent off I guess for insulting the linesman. Too bad Bosnia were mising Misimovic and other 3 regulars...Portugal only made like 3 max attacks 2 shots from Raul Meireles. I dont see why your coach said all that nonsense to the media about how "brilliant" your team is...

Btw Trim: I think you should overthink that post of yours about Ribery. Frankly speaking I wanted France out. and If France and Ribery are out that means Ribery will have more time to rest before another season at Bayern and he wouldnt have a chance to show Real and Barca his qualities so no more pressure will be upon him and Bayern...

And I agree with Tomas. Henry is a fucken cunt.

Dude, youre overreacting. I know there is a difference between "dislike" and "hate" AND I dont "dislike" France either. My remarks arent toward France or even towards the French NT. My comments are aimed directly at Henri. A class act kind of player would have said something like, "Hey, I admit it was a handball, it was an accident and I apologize. Now its in FIFA's hands." So you may think Im over reacting but Im just calling it like I see it. Another talented player with not much class.
