Arp and Mai can be decent solutions.
Yeah we got few makeshift fullbacks/strikers but that isn't depth, IYKWIM.

Arp and Mai can be solutions, but Kovač is probably not going to count on them for the first team.

Boateng on his way to Juventus, Arp in hospital. When fit, usually plays for FCB II. Not even on the bench in the first 3 BL games if i'm not mistaken.

When you put, Goretzka as your double pivot, although he has to be aware that he has more defensive duties, his instinct will always bring him into more advanced positions, because that's how he functions and plays/ed football. With current squad of Bayern, if Javi does not play, we almost exclusively will have a 4-3-3 even if we start 4-2-3-1. I don't know Roca, but from what I've heard, he interprets his position more defensively, thus it will be more 4-2-3-1 that 4-3-3.
    I agree with everything written.

I had in mind change inbetween same players, so Thiago, Roca change their mindset according to Coutinho being closer to them and Gnabry & Coman change it also according to Lewy. We can adopt to our opponent without substitutions if Roca is intelligent enough combining with Thiago & Coutinho. I think the biggest problem would be Coman who isn't the most intelligent player but we would need to see.

Coutinho > James, 1 year stop gap for Kai hopefully
    Pavard > Rafinha
    Lucas > Hummels
Cuisance > Sanches (Different type of midfielders, but Cuisance is the one more useful to our squad)
Perisic = Ribery, backup players, could have done better but Sane got injured.
Roca > Javi?, a missing #6 we hopefully need, he's not Rodri we all wanted here but he could be just as talented.

The only one missing is a Robben replacement, but hopefully that will be fixed by bringing Sane in january (Or some other player in case of a longer injury for Gnabry or Coman).

    I'd rate it around 7.5/10.
