      Schweini Javi

Obviously Thiago, Goetze, and Badstuber could easily replace Schweini, Muller, and dante respectively, but the point is the same - we're no better a side than we were when we won the CL - all we have now is slightly more depth.
Do we really need to be better than that side, I will be more than satisfy we can reach that Level again.

It's not going to happen but i think it could really work out in reality.

        A team such as this:

        Neuer
        Lahm - Boa - Bads - Alaba
        Thiago - Martínez
        Robben - Götze - Ribéry
        Lewy

There is still a German core with 5 NT players, and a Spanish midfield and a fantastic front 4 wich oozes class. Oh well, it's a fantasy and nothing more. There is players left out here who are club icons so it just not going to happen.

Yes we do, because our opponents haven't stayed stagnant.

I don't think we are even near the level of the 2012-13 that won the CL.

Tactically, not by miles. As far as the squad goes, I think we're as good or better. Jupp's tactics would have made this team look marginally better than the 2012-13 one.

Heynckes needed 2 years to create that team, I'll believe in Pep that one more year.

I still think the 3-5-2 is the best formation possible; we can have martinez, robbery, gotze, muller & lewa on the pitch at the same time (with Alaba & Thiago rotating with Lahm, Bastian & Gotze)

Pep can also change it to 3-4-3 but one of Gotze-Ribery will sit on the bench

Im new at this forum so first off all hello to all Bayern fans and all good people on this forum.

Imo Pep will use more tactical options than in first year. Only problem is that he has little time for tactical training because WC.

I would like to use this formations:
First I would like to see 3-2-3-2 (Imo strongest formation, easy to transform to 4-1-4-1 in the game).

                    -----------Lewa-----Muller----------
                    ---Ribery------Goetze-------Robben-
                    ----------Basti-------Lahm----------
                    -----Dante----Martinez---Boateng---
                    ---------------Neuer----------------

                    Secound formation 4-2-3-1

                    ---------------Lewa-----------------
                    ---Ribery------Goetze-------Robben-
                    ----------Tiago----Martinez---------
                    Alaba-----Dante-----Boateng----Lahm
                    ---------------Neuer-----------------

                    Third formation: 4-1-4-1

                    ----------------Lewa-----------------
                    Ribery----Gotze-----Muller-----Robben
                    ---------------Basti------------------
                    Alaba-----Martinez----Boateng-----Lahm
                    ---------------Nauer-----------------

Defensively Jupp's tactics would have made this team look marginally better, sure.

However on the offensive end the stellar 2013/14 season of Robben based hugely on Guardiola's more offensive tactics, whereas Heynckes relied heavily on Ribéry's playmaking who was in permanent crisis last season.

We wouldn't have lost 0-5 to Real Madrid, sure, but the team would imo have been pretty much hopeless on the offensive end.

I think it evens itself out for the most part.

I tend to agree, but I don't want to be even with 2012-13 when almost every other team in the world has improved massively since then except us.

                          Neuer
                          Lahm/Rafinha - Boateng/XXX - Dante/Badstuber - Alaba/Bernat
                          Martínez/Rode - Schweinsteiger/Thiago
                          Robben/Müller/Shaqiri - Götze/Müller/Thiago - Ribéry/Shaqiri
                          Lewandowski/Müller/Pizarro

4-3-3/4-2-3-1 depending on the situation and how you want to look at it.

Its a difficult decision though, but it good to note we can't field more than 11 players at a time. But I think what will determine who wins the first 11 is Guardiola pattern and players innate passion to play to his style....

Our Biggest formation base on Direct pattern of game will be:

                            .....................Neuer.................
                            Lahm......Boateng.....Dante.........Alaba

                            ..............Javi......Basti.................

                            Robben........Muller............Ribery

                            .................Lewandowski...............

                            Sub:Thiago,Gotze,Shaqiri
                            Extra:Pizza,Badstuber,Bernart,Green.

If we are to continue with Forced Tikitaka then we look like this:

                            ..................Empty Net...........

                            ...................Neuer.................

                            Bernart.....Javi....Boateng.......Alaba

                            ................Lahm...Basti.............

                            Robben........Thiago...........Ribery

                            ................Lewandowski..............

                            Sub:Muller,Gotze,Shaqiri.
                            Extra: Pizza,Green,Badstuber,Dante

It's difficult to fill all our best players in one formation, but I still think one of 3-5-2/3-1-4-2 can somehow solve this problem ... but I'm not sure if those 2 can work, especially on the defensive side, since we're not playing Fifa

                              (3-5-2): Neuer / Boateng - Martinez - Dante / Lahm - Alaba / Robben - Gotze - Ribery / Muller - Lewandowski

                              (3-1-4-2): Neuer / Boateng - Martinez - Dante / Lahm / Robben - Bastian - Alaba - Ribery / Muller - Lewandowski

Still, we have players like thiago, shaqiri, one of bastian/gotze will sit in the bench

                                Neuer
                                Lahm - Boateng - Martinez - Alaba
                                Rode - Thiago
                                Robben - Gotze - Ribery
                                Lewandowski

                                or

                                Neuer
                                Boateng - Martinez - Badstuber
                                Lahm - Schweinsteiger - Thiago - Alaba
                                Robben - Gotze
                                Muller - Lewandowski

Granted that second maybe a severe misunderstanding of tactics by me.
