Even though Pep will probebly switch this into a 4_3_3 or 4_1_4_1 i belive that this group of players would make a great starting 11, and espeseally the combination of Schweinsteiger and Xabi Alonso together is something Im realy looking forward too..
Muller will never perform in the midfield with guardiola, every game he started there was regular (chelsea, Madrid ....) with him you split the team in 2 blocks, he doesn't connect attack/defence. same with shaqiri.

How did you save this on FUT 15 Squad Builder? Mine won't, only works with FUT 14.

Martinez as lone DM is a recipe for failure. He needs a box-to-box midfielder beside him like Schweinsteiger.

But we never tried anything like it before, not with these names and with those abilities! Maybe put Schweini instead of Goetze or Muller, but still, it's the same principal.

We tried Martinez as lone DM several times last year, it worked out pretty terribly. With Schweinsteiger, it would be functionally the same as a 4-2-3-1, which I think is where both Schweini and Martinez work best, but with Muller or Goetze, neither of them can offer the midfield presence necessary to compliment Martinez.

I think Pep created 3 man defense especially for Martinez and he got injured so basically we're going back to 4 man defense in the last games because of the lack of CBs. So it depends on which players you use, I don't think that there is an overall good formation for Bayern.

This "inconsistency" is what killing us. Nothing else.

From what I've seen so far, I think the best formation for Bayern is 4-2-3-1:
                        Neuer / Lahm - Benatia - Boateng - Alaba / Alonso - Thiago / Robben - Gotze - Ribery / Muller

*Lewandowski isn't impressing me at all (at least till now)
*Gotze as CAM can perform at his best
*Thiago ahead of bastian because he fits pep's system more ... but I prefer Bastian alongside Alonso due to his defensive skills

I prefer Basti because he's simply the heart of Bayern.

How??? He just scored a spectacular goal and it seems like he's getting an assist or more every single game. I realize it's early, but I am 100% convinced, based solely on his limited performances to date, that we have not had a striker in recent memory anywhere near as tailor-made and well-fitted to the Bayern squad as Lewa.

Scoring a spectacular goal means nothing IMO
He already wasted too many chances and sometimes I forget that he is on the pich

I'm not saying that he is bad and he shouldn't start, and I know that he needs some time to adapt and fit the system and will score tons of goals here, but ATM I see that this formation is the strongest one

If you forget he's on the pitch, you're simply not paying attention. He's been absolutely vital to what little build-up play we've had - which I certainly agree has been lacking, but simply not on Lewa's efforts. He's been sublime and the only reason he's not scoring more than he is already (which seriously, guys, isn't a bad rate - it's not like he ISN'T scoring) is that he's not getting creative service. You know why that is, IMHO? Because we are missing the creative link that was Kroos, as well as his replacement, Thiago. More importantly, Goetze has, until he proved otherwise last game, simply not been able to create chances without additional dynamic midfield presence alongside him (Thiago, Schweinsteiger, Kroos - even Lahm). It's complicated but Lewa is still waiting for this team to get its midfield in a state of functional cohesion. No midfield service = no attacking creativity, excluding for moments of brilliance, which Lewa excels in, but can't rely on all the time.
