  • Since N.Kovač is sacked, who should Bayern hire?

Since N.Kovač's future with Bayern is on the line, and the possibility of him getting sacked before the winter break is really high.
If he gets sacked, who do you think we should hire in his stead?

Try to be as realistic as possible .. and discuss why do you think your choice is the best fitting one.

Get Wenger in as a caretaker until summer. If he does well/repair the sinking ship maybe let him stay for yet another season.

Wenger is not a long term solution, but as I can't see who else it should be, I vote for him as here and now. There's also LVG, but I don't think he wanna come here as long Uli is in charge.

There is no Jupp to save us this time around, and would Zidane, Conte and so be interested in the job as of now? I doubt it, but who knows. Knowing Uli he wants a German speaking coach and none of them speaks German.

"Ideal" if that exists anymore, would IMO be getting Wenger in for now, then let Conte or Zidane take over in the summer. Then they have a little time to learn the basic German and there will (hopefully) be cleaned out of the cancers/over the hill players in our squad and the new coach can make their demands for which players should replace the old ones.

Wenger would be a no-brainer for me. He's a very good tactitian and would probably develop the youngsters as well. There is no chance he'd stay here as long as he stayed at Arsenal, so he'd be perfect for the status quo.

I'm just sorry Bayernzone doesn't have its own youtube channel because with Wenger on board this might just be the closest we've ever come to become Arsenal Fan TV.

Zidane would be the best choice: very good tactician, has his own charisma, can attract big players to come and play for us, but I really doubt it

I can't believe people are seriously proposing Wenger. Have you forgotten the continuos humiliations we gave Arsenal over the last few years? The constant excuses Wenger had whenever Arsenal failed? The general sense of complacency and mediocrity that he instilled in Arsenal?

              He is a looser's coach.

              Just beg Conte and Zidane.

When you stay 20 years at a club you will get good, mediocre, and bad seasons. Sure I don't agree with his austere strategies of market, but as a tactician, and with the cast of players he had he did amazing.

Don't forget his glory days with Henry, Pires, and Viera. He did wonders with those teams, and they played some of the best football ever to grace the pitches.

Still, I am not for taking him on a permanent basis, but he'd be amazing for our status quo. He'd help the team make the transition from the old guard (farts) to the youngsters.

That was ages ago. Wenger is an antique.

It would be good to hire a manager that won at least some relevant trophies in a time frame that is not ages ago.

Zidane is my choice. Nonetheless I think there is a bigger urge to replace the head of FCB.

Doesn't mean he forgot how to do it again. Besides, Wegner is known as one of those guys who are constantly reading and trying to improve.

It's not a matter of forgetting. Wenger is outdated. He may have been a breadth of fresh air when he arrived to Arsenal, but nowadays his whole approach is just outdated.

Dude Wenger would be just as bad as Kovac, Jesus I can’t believe we are even considering him.

Wenger isn’t happening and I don’t know why his name is brought up except in ignorance. Read Uli’s prior statements about him and you’ll see why it’s just not even a remote possibility.

Now sobriety aside, I’d love to have Pep back *ducks for cover*

The only negative to not wanting Zidane IMO is that, that might (probably) mean that James is done here. But that’s 1 player. Replace him with let’s say Dybala it Griezmann and I wouldn’t care about James gone.
