  • Gnabry wasn't great but he was involved in both of our goals with two key passes that eventually lead to the goals ..

he needs to play regularly to improve his confidence.
I still think he needs to improve a lot and even if he does I am not convinced with Coman/Gnabry as our future wingers.

I believe we still need a world class winger with them.

          • IMO Bild should go find something else to do and stop with these ratings

Hell even Bayern's official account tweeted about Thiago's performance:

                True story @Grey....

This thing was a win to win situation for me since the day of the group stages draw.

I' ve been expecting this game since 1983.
That's why I will attend the game in Munich as well.
I'll be there for 3 days 6-8 of November and I've already arange a meeting with @jbm
If anybody being in Munich want's to join us, he is already invited.

My feelings watching both teams on the same field was something I can't describe.

I still cannot sense which team I love more.

I follow AEK since 1976 and Bayern since 1983.
                That's the only difference.
Back in those days tv in Greece wasn't covering Bundesliga, only a few highlights every Sunday night at the beginning of the 80's.

Now about the game, that was the ideal result for me a low score win for Bayern.

I was prepaired not to cheer for Bayern's goals, but I didn't know what I would do if AEK would have scored.
                Hopefully that wasn't evn close.

I don't know if this was clear from tv, but Bayern was totally snobbing the game at the first half.
They played with lots of arrogance while AEK was giving all they got.
At the 2nd they got in like saying "let's play 10-15 minutes football to finish them of and go back home".
                And that's what they did.
The quality difference between the two teams is chaotic (of course we all knew that).

My 2 cents from watching this Bayern live for the first time is:

1.Thiago is a totally different player from the one we see in tv.
Enormous quality, but still needing a Kante type player next to him for the
                big decisive games.

2.I don't care for the press ratings and even if he scored, Martinez is not
                good for Bayern anymore.
The player we'll sign for this position has to be fast, fast and fast.
Esp. if we intend to maintain the 3 CD's we have.

3.I always had and still have great expectations for Gnabry.
The only thing he needs is more playing time and to work more on his
                finishing.

p.s. I don't know if anyone notices but I suggest Hult as a decent Alaba back-up (and he is cheap )
