Hopefully we play a good game again. It's been long since we had a really good and convincing performance on all levels.

With that said, knowing these players..

Everyone is hungry and wants to prove that they can do much better and turn the ship around, from Kovac down to the players. They will play much better with faster pace and better urgency, I am sure. Goals will be abundant and I feel sorry for AEK Athens.

The only possible way that Bayern could bottle this is the players decide to get Kovac fired.

Honestly I feel like the players should've gotten hungry long ago by now lol but in a way you have a point, both against Mönchengladbach and Freiburg we had a quite promising start and showed some nice actions then we failed to reward ourselves with a goal and what's even worse we also got punished on the first chance conceded. If we don't wanna think bad, we could surely say luck wasn't by our side.

Hopefully they are in good faith and looking to turn things around.

Yea you're so right about having promising starts. The players seem to give 110%, appear to be fighting for the badge for the first 10-15 minutes.

After that it's like a totally different team. Everyone standing around or slow jogging. Yelling at each other... It's so strange. It's like 2 different teams. Pure passion the first 10-15 minutes. Then after that it's so bad you get the rumors of players wanting Kovac fired...

If one doesn't want to think bad about the players possibly plotting for Kovac's dismissal, it looks like the players lost self-confidence in the last week, they seem to give their all to channel the game towards the right path and then get disappointed when things don't go the way they want. It sounds a bit strange given the experience of most players in our squad but all things considered it can be reasonable and perhaps Kovac ain't the best at motivating them for that regard.

probably some unconvincing 2-1 ,3-1 win followed by a 3-1, 4-1 loss vs Dortmund

Kicker's XI against AEK: Neuer - Kimmich, Süle, Hummels, Alaba - Javi - Goretzka, Müller - Ribery, Lewandowski, Gnabry

James has a calf problem and will be rested.

It’s a fine line up IMO

But ffs, play a good game from start to finish for once Bayern!

Like dominating the game for 90 mins and finish it with a late winner?
