Hope we play like we did against Hamburg and Arsenal.
    Neuer
    Lahm - Martinez - Hummels - Alaba
    Vidal - Thiago
    Robben - Müller - Costa
    Lewandowski

Bring on Ribery for Costa, Sanches for Vidal and Kimmich for Lahm later on in the game

I'd say start Ribéry instead of Costa, and then sub Coman on.

That was my first thought, but I was unsure how match-ready he is. I'd definitely prefer to see Ribery start if possible though

I would feel safer with this:

          Lewa

          Costa-Thiago-Robben

          Vidal-Kimmich

          Alaba-Hummels-Javi-Lahm

          Neuer

Muller needs to play so he can regain his form, we can't leave him on the bench while he's starting to show glimpses of himself

Correct.....but not to a Knock out game against an in-form very good opponent!

I for one think that the smartest thing to do, since it's a knockout game, is to play the same lineup featured against HSV

If only Carlo would make those kinds of substitution!

Bayern will be without Sanches (he has a cold) and maybe without Alaba too (slight knock).

On the plus side Alonso will be fit to play again.

At the presser today Carlo stated that it looks like Boa could be fit for the away match at Arsenal next week

                          Carlo's pre-Schalke presser

to add on that, he also stated that he will maybe give costa a break tomorrow and start with ribery instead.

and one of the most important statement made by ancelotti today:
