It seems Ze Roberto might join Hamburg.

I was quite disappointed with the way Bayern dealt with this, Ze was a very good player for us and deserved a new contract, even if it was for 2 years, he was definitely capable of playing 2 more seasons at top flight.

It's good for the Bundesliga is he stays, he is a class player. But I'll be sad to see him represent another German club, other than Bayern.

Yeah Ze was good, I think Poldi should have stayed a few years more, cuz' we all know he had potencial and i'm prety sure that he was geting back to form... but anyway it was nice to ahve him as part of the club now we'll hope to make a good season by CÖLN

I don't want to see him in a rival club shitness .

      Good signing for HSV.

We can't be mad at him. Bayern were his first choice and they decided not to offer what he wanted. He'll have another great season in the league and Uli will have himself to blame for not extending his contract.

Good for him. I rather see him there then say Bayer. Hes a class player and now ein Fischkopf... at leas Hamburg has some good news this season. Too bad Jol couldnt hang around for them.

I highly doubt Zé would go to Hamburg. Even though things didn't end well, he still has high esteem to Bayern Munich. I doubt he'd join one of our direct rivals of the league.

Ze Roberto: "HSV is perfect for me."

Ze Roberto to HSV? Almost official.

Former Bayern Munich midfielder Ze Roberto has claimed he turned down more lucrative offers to join Hamburg.

The 34-year-old has been agreed a two-year contract with German side and is set to link up with his new team-mates for pre-season on Monday, when he will undergo his medical.

The Brazilian insisted he could have earned more by moving to England, with Manchester City among those linked to the player, but did not relish life in the Barclays Premier League.

"Money is not the most important thing. I don't have any desire to live in England," he said. "Hamburg is perfect for me and my family.

"HSV is a big club with a good structure and they are playing in Europe. Also, my children don't have to learn a new culture."

Ze Roberto also revealed that he has a future off-field role already in place with the Bundesliga side.

"They have offered me two years plus the option for a third," he told Munich's Tz newspaper.

"Subsequently, I will be employed as a scout for South America for Hamburg, acting like Giovane Elber does for Bayern.".
