      • I was watching BPL matches live and I just told my bro "well Pep could only see the CL with the binoculars this season, too, so don't really care if he wins the Prem or not" and he told me I am like Inter Milan fans, I can only enjoy other teams' losses

        1:4 City btw

          • Liverpool are the eternal runners up in PL it seems. Even when they play an outstanding season it's still not enough for them lol.

They will probably win the title in a near future though, they have a relative young and very talented team with a lot of hunger.

            • Props to Guardiola for this. 14 wins in a row with only 4 goals conceded.

Props to both Pep and Klopp tbh. The idea that both clubs kept up sch a consecutive set of wins only for the table to be decided by a single point is a testament to both of them.

I want to say, especially to Pep critics, that Pep's finest quality when he was at Bayern was his ability to grind out consecutive league wins. This is nothing new from him - what's new is that Klopp managed to catch up and give him a run for his money.

                    • Pep failed to win the CL since he left Barca, but what I wouldn't give to have him back instead of our clueless excuse of a coach.

I am totally fine saying that Pep let us down by not winning the CL because the expectation was made extremely clear from the very beginning. No about of domestic doubles are going to make up for the fact that Pep was brought in to make us CL champions once again. He's failed to do the same at Manchester City, but I also think they had different expectations for him.

I think City's expectation is to make them a domestic power house first (and if he last, win a UCL down the road)

And we're even more salty because he left us for a richer, plastic guy.

Agreed, no matter how disappointed I can be about his tenure here nothing takes away the fact he's had a brilliant season at City and managing to lift the league trophy back-to-back is beyond incredible especially if you think his competitor was Liverpool with 97 points and only one loss lol
