Rumour has it that Van Dijk has torn ACL today and will be out for 7/8 months.

Don’t care for VVD or Liverpool and wish them only the worst, but it was absolutely unacceptable that no punishment was given to pickford.

I don't wish injury upon no one... Fast recovery to VVD, but fuck him and Liverpool and the whole EPL

How much time out, do you reckon?

No idea, the only thing known is that he informed Klopp that he thought he injured his knee and that he's currently being tested.

ACL sucks big time, only human thing is to hope he recovers well. EPL just opened up like crazy because of his injury.

At least Thiago escaped with a minor injury. I still think Liverpool can win the league.

City in 12th place, you love to see it.

So far, of the big European teams, only Bayern, Madrid, and Liverpool have shown an ability to stay competitive in the league that this early stage. And all three of these teams have shown some moments of struggle already. Depth is the defining factor here, and I adamantly stand by my argument last summer that Bayern has the best depth of any team right now.

(Barca also 12th but with a game behind lol)

You might be right, but our depth only became good enough on the last 24h.

Ok, and I always said we needed more players too! I wasn't satisfied with what we have (and I am still not) but even before we got most of those players we were still miles ahead of nearly every other major team. And the results in their respective leagues only underscore this. I am very thankful that we signed several of the players we did, but we were blessed with an already amazing line-up that was privileged to have even more improvement by the time the window was done. No, I don't think we're anywhere near a finished product, and I predict we're going to struggle a little bit too, but we're doing very well right now and a very significant part of that is how deep and high-quality our depth is right now.

Özil really turned into a Twitter fan account after being left out of the squad for the last games
