Its chelsea's call about pizzaro now. Werder have a creative midfield and their defence is not bad either.

Getting a good striker is their main concern.

Bremen's defense has always cost them important games.

          They need reinforcement.

I agree Pizarro should stay at Werder, he helped them a lot last season.
Now they got Marin, I really rate the kid. He could be the next Hassler.

The problem with werder is that they do not have a good squad depth. Injuries are another major concern for them, making them only a half season team.

                Sanogo wants Bremen exit

Toulouse reportedly in talks to sign Ivory Coast striker

Boubacar Sanogo does not want to return to Werder Bremen after being linked with a move to Toulouse.

The Ivory Coast striker has a strained relationship with Bremen coach Thomas Schaaf and spent the second half of last season on loan at Hoffenheim.

Bremen's Bundesliga rivals did not take up their option to sign Sanogo permanently and reports now claim he is wanted by Toulouse.

Sanogo, who was a target for Le Havre and Marseille in January, is reportedly in talks with Toulouse regarding a €3million (Ł2.5million) switch.

And the 26-year-old believes a move away from Bremen before the start of the new season will benefit all parties.

"I don't want to return to a club where the manager has a personal problem with me," Sanogo told Ivory Coast newspaper Nord-Sud.

"A transfer will be the best thing for the two parties."

Its good that sonogo wants to leave. He was a flop anywayz.

He had a good start in hoffenhiem, by scoring a goal in his debut, but later floped for them too.

                        Werder want Pizarro back

Werder Bremen general manager Klaus Allofs has declared his intention to try and re-sign Claudio Pizarro.

The Peruvian striker joined Werder on a year-long loan from Chelsea last summer and enjoyed a successful campaign.

It remains unclear where Pizarro will be plying his trade when the new season gets underway but he is expected to return to hold talks with the Blues next week.

If the decision is taken that he will leave Stamford Bridge, there are likely to be a number of interested clubs.

But Allofs is confident of securing a deal to bring Pizarro back to the Weserstadion.

He told kicker-Sportmagazin: "We are intensively working on having him here for the new season and potentially also for more than just the new campaign.

"He is a great striker and has shown what he can do for the club."
