Congrats! Hopefully you're going to play your second team against Bosnia though.

        A beauty from Pjanić.

Da.. I want to see this team playing at least one more tournament, feels like a golden generation is being wasted.

Agreed, would give everything to see Dzeko leading this team for the last time on a big tournament. Perfect ending to a perfect career.

Damn, it's going to be one hell of a game against Czech Republic. Hope Kosovo will qualify.

                • Kosovo have been given some preferential treatment... shame on fifa and uefa... this is not fair on other federations.... they were allowed to sign players who had already represented other Nations at senior level.

On the other hand they refused us (Malta) to register two players who only got their Passport after representing another country at youth level... one in England and the other in Australia.
Now they can never be eligible to play for us.

I really doubt that was the case. Albania have nationalized a lot of players who have appeared for other NTs in the youth levels. Besides, the case with Kosovo is a unique one cause Kosovo was accepted in FIFA and UEFA a mere 3 years ago, so the players didn't have the option of choosing Kosovo before.

As for the chances, they are huge, we need to beat the Czechs but that is totally doable, and we showed against England as well that we have a quality squad which can cause trouble to big teams as well.

If we don't get in the tournament directly we will have the chance of going though the playoffs where we will meet either Macedonia, or Georgia, which are totally beatable.

They got an exemption due to being a new registered association, so players who are Kosovian and would've had the opportunity to choose it were granted the opportunity to change associations. Do you have any links about the Maltese players? Never heard of this before.

That's because FIFA rules regarding no blood connections require 5 year experience on the FA's nation before the age of 18. Since those players were already Albanians, this wasn't required.

                      • Mitchell Mallia from Australia
                        Sam Magri from England

Now we are trying to bring
Jake Brimmer from Australia and Jodie Felice Jones from England
But the latter's agent is still telling him that he has got a chance to play with the Three Lions.

We have Luke Gambin also from Eng & in the past we had to Aussies in John Hutchinson and Manny Muscat

                          • Tonight was the first match in the new Hungarian national stadium, Puskás Arena. It's in my opinion a worthy successor of the former national stadium which opened back in 1953 at the same location, and where the legendary Puskás Ferenc and the Hungarian Golden Team achieved many great victories, first of them was the rematch of the famous Match of the Century, where the Hungarian side beat England 7-1.

Capacity is 68 000 which makes it the 20th biggest stadium in Europe and the biggest in Central Europe not counting Germany. Next summer some of the EURO 2020 matches will be played here. If we are able to qualify, we will certainly play one or two matches in the Arena.
