Add to the mix the fact that Bayern are only club who consistently go deep in international competitions, then you can imagine how leveraged they are when they are dealing with sponsors and etc. If you are a German company wanting to support a sport club, Bayern is the best way to represent your brand internationally.
It was sarcasm.

It was a good break for Bayern:

- Coman scored 3 goals
- Gnabry scored 2 goals
- Zirkzee scored a hattrick
- Davies scored a goal
- Fein scored a goal

Now back to club football

Bayern are set to be without midfielder Leon Goretzka for a period of time. The 24-year-old suffered another injury on his left thigh during Germany's preparations for their match against the Netherlands last week. He was subsequently forced to undergo an operation on Wednesday to remove a haematoma. The surgery was successful.

I wonder what are we waiting with Thiago and Alaba. We are playing a dangerous game and as time passes by they will have the upper hand when theyll have only one year left next sunmer. Extending their contracts until the end of this calendar year should be a top priority.

I think Thiago has zero desire to leave. Alaba is a different story. But then again his play hasn’t been great that we can’t let him leave. You could argue that staring Davies after another year or 2 of development is actually better than Alaba.

Well then we should have planned earlier if we knew that alaba wants to leave. No reason to let him have only one year on his contract that way he will go for much less.i can see City going after him, Pep has problems with thre LB and CB position at City.

Once again bad business to let very good players to end up with one year contracts. Theyll have the upper hand can demand more to stay will cost much less.
We renewed with Lewy should have done the same with neuer, thiago and alaba
