I think they don't let the full capacity in World Cup games.

They probably don't allow full capacity. AA is shortened for 5k seats too.

Ok, but they reduced the seating capacity by 18,000? That's gotta be a typo.

All standing areas are closed and Südtribune is transformed to seated area, that's why the capacity reduces so drastically. Standing areas aren't allowed by FIFA in intentional competitions.

Does the Signal Iduna Park have an unnaturally large standing area or something? None of the other stadiums are reduced by such a large number.

Südtribune is the biggest standing area in Europe with a capacity of ~25k. Then there are some other smaller standing areas too in a couple of corners.

It's Die Gelbe Wand (The yellow wall).
Really impressive, I saw 1 game in the yellow wall in the lowest ring standing row 35 or something.
Man, that's harder than fitness. They jump and shout all the match.
Something to have done once in your life although it's Dortmund.

Südtribüne is called Die Gelbe Wand only when it's full of Dortmund fans, otherwise it's simply Südtribüne, ie the actual name of the standing area is Südtribüne.

Yeah I know. I was in it once. But everyone knows it as Die Gelbe Wand. And in 99% of all games played in Westfalen/Signal Iduna it is full of Dortmund fans. Was nothing more than a clarification for people to immediatly know where it is in the stadium.
