Is this Enrico Chiesa's son ?

Anyway. Never seen the kid play, but his father was pretty good.

I didn't see him many time and didn't really look at him when I watch Fiorentina this season.

What can you tell us about him ?

By the way can he play #9 or is he a winger ? a SS ?

according to transfermarkt , he can play as RW & CF/SS

for me I'm against signing talents for this coming season unless they are bombs like Mbappé or Dembélé

We have Coman & Gnabry , we need a proven world class attacker to be added to the squad

I think he's really talented and one of the hottest prospects concerning Italian football.

Fiorentina deployed him as a LW mostly, but he's right-footed, he can play on both flanks. I think he has the pace and rhytm to play as a winger and that's where he'll stick. He can dribble past defenders very well.

Of course he's still raw and ain't ready for a big club like Bayern. But Fiorentina under Della Valle want to sell a few players, they want to cash in
because they'll probably change property. He said he wants to stay at Fiorentina but I doubt he will for long. It would be good to buy him now and let him stay on loan for 1-2 years.

He played a couple of times vs Juve and he dismantled their defence on his own. By the way Fiorentina - Juve is a derby so it's not even like Juve underestimated him and the match.

He played a few games for Italy U21 in the last Euros and he was a real game-changer. He won Italy the first game and he shone in the 2nd game, too.

Fiorentina fans are much more hyped about Chiesa rather than Bernardeschi, for instance.

Yes, he's Enrico's son, that's why I think he will have a good career. The talent is there, his father was a professional player, too, so he'll take good care of him.

thanks for the input, Bayer.
taking your words for it, we should really take him now if we can before his price gets inflated, loan him back to Viola or any other German team ..

if this rumor has any merit to it, then Uli and co are really looking to do business differently in the transfer market, I like it so long we keep making high profile signings when needed .. as in now ..

we really need an offensive impact player this season.

I honestly doubt we're after him, I guess Italian outlets link us to Serie A players mainly due to Ancelotti.

I agree that we'd need other profiles as of now...but again, Uli said what he said, thus I doubt we're gonna get a top player now. I don't wanna get upset anymore, I rather hype for youngsters now haha

Young and fresh football.

https://www.clubcall.com/bundesliga/...t-1864158.html

"Bayern have been scouting Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa (19) and are exploring the possibility of signing him"

EDIT: I know "clubcall" is prob not as reliable of a source, but numerous outlets are reporting that Bayern is scouting him. Interesting, because I think the club is starting to realize we need to do something about that right side without Robben.

He'd be a great candidate to sign for cheap (like our board likes to do) and loan him while grooming him. He looks to be pretty talented.
