Let's talk about the Europa league.

Specifically, let's talk about this goal and Manchester United's misery.

But holy shit what a tremendously amazing goal.

Every goal in the Fenerbahce vs. United game was special.

Sow's goal.
Lens scored from a FK and
Rooney scored a longshot.

Schalke got dumpstered by Ajax and it was a team of children. Can't help but love the way those dutch bastards do things. Huge amounts of respect.

Fährmann did a Neuer to keep the tie alive....

Man... this game sums up Schalke's season, you just don't know what team you will get, the hot one, or the cold.

Edit:
Looks like Rashford is really the real deal.

It's just typical Schalke to choke whenever they have a serious chance to achieve something.

TBH, if Ajax were a bit more competent in the 1st leg, they would've scored 2~3 more goals. This game was the full rollercoaster that has been Schalke's season thus far.

Indeed Fährmann saved his mates and still single-handedly gave them a match for the 2nd Leg as Ajax deserved to close it way earlier, but either way Schalke somehow managed to put 3 past the Dutch and eventually come back and put themselves ahead (being one man up!) but no, they still managed to lose it. Kudos, life (in terms of football) as Schalke fan must be hard.

I only saw the first half of Anderlecht - United last night but I've gotta say the Anderlecht goalkeeper (is it Ruben?) was very good, made some fantastic saves
