"Bayern won't have made an attempt on Thaigo"

...I think it would be better as..."Bayern WOULDN'T have made an attempt on THIAGO"
I don't want to influence your probably James Joyce like command and manipulation of the English language ....perhaps I'm missing the finer, deeper, more expressive nuances but.....
I seem to recall that "Pep" not "Jupp" was the one who stated:

Thiago (sorry about the correct spelling...shows my age...)
or nothing"

I am very happy that I can be helpful!!
And thank you for the Jupp quote; as much as I try to keep on top of things I was not aware of that.
Still hope Bayern remain Bayern and I enjoy the likes of Thiago, Martinez, Shaqiri, Hojbjerg, Dante, Van Buyten (sad to see him go) et al and any other internationals....I just don't want Bayern to become Pep's exclusive Bundesliga Spanish project.

Bernat was not a Pep transfer according to Sammer. Reina and Thiago both are, but I agree with both deals.

By the way, Heynckes wanted Isco at all costs for 2013, also a Spanish player.

The much simpler truth, is that the Primera Divion and the Bundesliga are the top two producers of talent in the entire football world. Consequently players from those two leagues are often very attractive for us.

I welcome him with open arms. Now can we start looking for a CB please?

Very good signing for a back-up goalkeeper.
Better than both Valdez and Boruc.

The only thing that is worrying is the 4 Spaniards in our team.
No more Spaniards, please!

Just sign Hoewedes now and Reus next year so that the balance will be restored!

He's pretty good at saving penalties. Never saw Starke save one, or did he once with his head?

Starke saved a penalty against Nuremberg with his head back in 2013.

Much more importantly saved a crucial penalty against M'gladbach's Wendt in this year's Telekom Cup

He saved one important one and gave us the Telekom cup lately.

On Reina: fuck.yes. I rate Pepe really high. I still remember that I wanted him to join us after Butt as a starter when he was shining with Liverpool. Reina is a very good keeper and an excellent/perfect backup, I mean I don't think you can get a higher rated keeper to be Neuer's backup, which means getting very little playing time. Plus he's 31 years old which gives us like 5 more years hopefully of his services!

So Neuer, Reina, and Starke, great set!
