On Sportbild today: Kurt's agent said: "The contract actually is until 2015. We currently assume he will go Bayern for free next year."

So, in any case, Kurt will join us. Gladbach could sell him now for some money or get nothing next year.

I saw in transfermarkt.de that his contract expires at 30/06/2016

What I understand here:
-Gladbach's sporting director Eberl said the contract runs until 2016.
-Kurt's agent Decker said it is valid just until 2015 because Kurt signed the contract at 16 and no one at that age is allowed to have a contract that takes longer than 3 years.

That is the contradiction.

Anyway, Kurt will join us, it's matter of time

Just sell Shaqiri who's useless for 17/18M€ and buy Kurt at 2M€.

Bayern will have 15M€ in bank for futur transfert next summer.

So? Doesn't change the fact, that Kurt cannot replace Shaqiri.

Just like Shaqiri can't break into first team even with the absence of Robbery on either flank..

Ideally, though, I would sell Shaqiri for around 20-22 million, add some 10-15 million on top of that, and break Reus' current release clause of 35 million NOW, who would force Ribery into the bench.

And have Dortmund get Sinan Kurt if he is really as good to be the "new Reus", since he will have a hard time breaking into the team at Bayern at this age, but will find perfect platform to shine with Klopp in Dortmund like Gotze, Lewa and Reus did. Seems to me that Dortmund would be the better place in top flight for him at the moment, while at the same time, we get the "real Reus"..

I think you are confusing the term "first team" for "starting XI".

Yes I did. But once the injured starters are back, I doubt Shaqiri would (or could) even make it to the bench with this form he's had for the past two seasons and now.. No?

Reus release clause will only become active in 2015.
