Niko Kovac reached the DFB Pokal final for the 2nd consecutive year (Frankfurt had enough chances to win the match but BVB won the match thanks to a penalty)
He is also fighting for a European spot for next season (5 points behind the 3rd place and 1 point behind the 5th place)

If Nagelsmann is highly rated because he finished in the 4th place with a decent team last season (had players like Baumann, Sule, Rudy, Toljan, Wagner, Kramaric, Vargas, Uth ...)
Then Kovac is really underrated after what he already did with a squad nowhere near Hoffenheim's last season squad level

The main reason Nagelsmann is rated highly is his age. That's also why Kovac has been flying under the radar, he's not a coaching prodigy like Nagelsmann (or Domenico Tedesco), ie not as media sexy.

I've been reading a lot of articles that shed the light on his tactical approach with Frankfurt, and I am impressed.

the question is not about his tactics but his ability to adapt with the overwhelming pressure of managing a big team and the task of controlling the egos of our dressing room wont be easy as well.

I wish him the best of luck

he has a great charisma and strong leadership skills. The frankfurt players are ready to run through brick walls for him. I'm convinced he will do great here. He is also a bayern fan

I am looking forward to his first season. I am not expecting wonders but I am excited nevertheless.
I just hope our board helps him with a high-caliber transfer or two.
