This was the best first half from Germany in ages. Only an utter awful pass from Sané is the reason it’s not at least 2-0 for Ze Germans

Gnabry is helping to recover many balls too. All this speed trio Sane, Gnabry and Werner is really exciting.

Very polite from the ref, I dislike Mats but he was unlucky there

Griezmann is the new (old) Müller. Plays like shit for 90% of a match and then pops up out of nowhere and scores the match winning goals.

And this is just the current Germany NT in a nutshell. Whenever they play a good game, they can't score to close the game. Sane especially for not even being able to play a total free Werner.

It was a step in the right direction from Ze Germans. But they gotta convert their chances way better, it was quite disastrous really - and as we all know it's not only in this match they can't convert.

Süle should be the undisputed starter from now on, then Hummels or Boateng can fight for the other spot - I tend to go with Hummels, that comes with Boa being so injury prone as well.

Süle did really well in this match, Kimmich was great too along with Gnabry who I think played a decent match.

Undeserved loss tbh, but it's good to see some young players taking their chances and playing good

And 2018 is officially the worst year in the German NT history... 6 losses in one year, never happened before

Maybe that's why Süle and Kimmich was standing with tears in their eyes after the final whistle. They didn't want to be in the history books remembered for that.

To be fair they're not the one to blame for this misery though. Süle is not even a starter as yet, he can't be blamed at all.

And the only goal is from a pen...

These guys, NT and Bayern, can not convert a chance from open play.

German football still has the talent but lacks the discipline and proper management.
as long as J.Low is at the helm I expect nothing better than what we saw lately.
