Funnily enough, that has also worked in his favor at times (Klose).

I don't get why Rüdiger is still getting minutes instead of Süle ir Tah, for instance. I'd argue Can should be nowhere near the German squad either. Not Höwedes.

Dude, Gomez scored a crucial goal, he deserves his place, it's not like Germany is booming with center-fowards. Apart from Werner, there's really no one that can do his job. We saw in the Euros how Germany missed him after his injury. You can't shit on a coach that keeps bringing players that perform well....
The thing that pisses me off about Podolski is that he went 6~7 years without doing pretty much shit in the National Team, still Löw was still calling him up, i don't think i will ever understand why.

I agree. I like Gómez and all. But Löw should have been looking for someone since a while ago.

Part of it is team chemistry as well, the national team is together so little you can't go chopping and changing when you have a group of players who work well together. I mean he's brought Hector, Kimmich, Weigl, and Sane into the squad since the Euros, so he's bring on new players.

Gundogan can never stay fit so he can't push Khedira out. Same with Reus and Schurrle. You would hope Sane would get Schurrle's rotation minutes in the near future. Ozil is still class and is a deserved starter. Gomez is still there due to lack of alternatives. Poldolski should have really been phased out after 2014 but they've been together since the beginning. So I'll cut Low some slack there.

Not everyone actually!

Sadly or not, Gomez is still undoubtedly the best German classic striker.
Only Muller could claim his place and that's of course not with his current drought in form and scoring!

Of course I disbain to defend Ozil.
I've spoken about him so many times.
His presence is twice as vital for the NT than Arsenal.
His quality speaks fot iself.

Khedira is a very usefull player doing so many jobs in the field.
His workrate and experience combined make him as the most suitable fot the other half of Kroos.
Just remember his amazing performances in the last 2 tournaments (esp. wc 2017) and how crucial was his absence in the semi vs France!
Of course we'd all prefer a healthy Gundogan but.....where is he?

Finally once and for all....
Howedes is the 3rd best totaly German CD.
He is most experiencenced, better in man marking, defencive abilities and in the air combined than all the others (except the magic duo of course.
Stop judging a defender by how he's handling the ball, his technique and his contribution to build up the game ONLY!

Sule of course is a great talent with immence potential but still lacks experience in high level games.
And believe me, playing next to Hummels wouldn't be the best thing for him as they are both slow.

Finaly (mark my words for this), I consider Rudiger as the new Boateng.
He is fast, strong, good n the air and with great potential to evolve, still young for this position.
Much better than Tah!
Clearly the 4th best choice behind Hoewedes!

My humble opinion as someone who "studies" the Nationalmannschaft, without any break, since 1982!

The problem is, there's no one else. Germany has been really unlucky developing strikers. Most of the promising ones had ACL tears/injuries and didn't develop.

I don't know what to think about this USA team. It's kind of sad our 18 year old Dortmund player old is the best and most composed player on the pitch.

It shouldn't have been a tough game against Panama, but again we prove that we might not even deserve to be in the world cup next year!

Calm down, only the most catastrophic disaster possible can make USA miss the World Cup. It's harder for them to miss then to qualify
