If Kimmich were as good as Sanches was at 18 He'd be there too. Respect the curve.

Nah, no one really scouts Germany for youth except Germany. Sorry man, your mic take was just lame, 1/10.

More that the only comparable German talent in the last decade has been Götze

I'm very concerned by the failings in mentality that Sanches displayed at Bayern, and then continued at Swansea. I think it was a mistake to bring him here and it was a mistake to now bring him back. I'm happy to be proven wrong (in fact, I'd like that very much), but there's literally nothing he can do until the season starts in earnest that is going to redeem him. If he manages to stand out in the BuLi, I'll proclaim loudly and to all hat Sanches is showing promise. Until then, he literally doesn't have the opportunity.
Fair enough. I want to be optimistic and think he can turn it around. but you do have a fair point.

A lot of our youngsters played long seasons.
The U17 final for German Championship was the 17th of June.
The U17 and U19 startet their preseason again on the 2nd of July.
The U23 startet even Mid June.

They all had an intensive start and were the put in the start of training with the first team, where all is going a lot faster and harder.

That they are not all up and running and showing off all their talent is normal I think.

For Ryan Johansson, he's a central midfielder so you can't blame a 17 year old who was playing for German Championship on the 17th of June and started his preseason on the 2nd of July that he was not at his best.
Not his normal position and not much rest I guess.

I would like to see mor of OBM andZirkzee too, they showed some talent.

I believe they all have a certain amount of talent, whether tey make it or not is dependant on their will, their character, their focus, their improvement,...

As I see it, we now have more promising youngster than in the last 10 years.
Some will make it through, I hope.

Didn't watch the game, but I watched the extended highlights

They are not enough to conclude but they showed that we were by far the better team, and our defense (including Ulreich) looked like amateurs in both goals scored by Juventus

And that miss by our Korean kid ... I mean if you intend to miss such a chance you wouldn't be able to ! Like some said he must have some talent to miss it
