He is not wrong though: Coman, Gnabry, Alphoso Davis and soon to be Pavard and Arp

If you think about it, Robbery, Rafinha, Lewandowski and perhaps Boateng and Wagner are the only “old” players Bayern have. There is a lot of young blood in the team. I forgot to mention Sule and Goretzka.

And given that 2 of them are supposedly our most prominent attacking player and one of them is a motivationless CB whose ankles look like about to break at any moment and Rafinha is the only fullback we have as back-up, yes it's pretty tragic.

I am sure after this season Robbery will fade out if not outright denied of renewal, starting next season it will be Coman and Gnabry leading the show. Boateng will be sold to make room for Pavard who already has a deal with Bayern.

We have been saying this is Robbery's last year for quite a long time, besides Gnabry has yet to show anything worth warranting him the role of reliable back-up, let alone a solid spot in the starting eleven. I'd argue the same applies to Coman but the guy gets injured every now and then henceforth I doubt he'll carry us a long way. Pavard doesn't get me excited either and the fact he was class for France NT during the last WC campaign means very little to me given how poor the level of NT football is.

Ribery is 36, Robben 34, Muller 30, Lewandowski 30, Javi 30. I believe they're still young for Uli

I get that it's probably some media tricks to loosen the pressure towards the team but the fact the Bayern chairman needs to take on these tricks to make things function is beyond me.

However, I shall admit as much as the German mentality is at it, I appreciate his view and the fact he wants to leave his job and put his successor in the best conditions possible. It's a little bit like politics, sometimes politicians may take some unpopular decisions for the good of people and situations look as gloomy as they can get, then a new one is in chief and the sun shines again and we think it's all on the new one in charge.

And yeah, nothing new. He said the "we'd have no bound financially but the club doesn't want to sell/he doesn't want to join us several times throughout the years. Although if they really enquired of Mbappé, well, good on them at least.

Mbappe + Coman is like dipping McDonalds fries in gourmet bechamel sauce.
